Steve Persson - Pastor
Pastor Steve Persson is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Northern Illinois University and Wheaton College Graduate School. Pastor Steve has served with FBC since 1974, first as youth pastor, then spending one year in the Philippines as a missionary and as senior pastor since 1981. He and wife, Jaime, have 6 children, Leah (married to Bobby), Hannah, Debra, Luke, Mark and Matthew.

Bill Badal - Pastor
Pastor Bill Badal has a love for youth with a unique perspective of spending his boyhood in a Christian home in Baghdad, Iraq. Bill was a businessman before entering the ministry and receiving his Bible training at Moody Extension School. Bill’s wife, Michele, is a school teacher at a public school. Bill and Michele have 2 sons, Tim and Joel, both in ministry. They also have 2 beautiful daughters-in-law, 7 grandkids and a dumb Basset hound called Winston.

Nate Miller
Nate (2nd from right – on missions trip to Chad, Africa) is the Director of Sr. High Ministries. He is a graduate of Judson University with a degree in youth ministry/adolescent studies. Nate is a native of Sycamore and has attend FBC since the first week his parents brought him home from the hospital. His first foray into the wild world of youth ministry came as a high school junior when Pastor Bill gave him a chance to lead the junior high youth group.

Hobbies: Basketball, Softball, Soccer, Playing bass, Sleeping
