Prayer Requests
… I will give thanks to Your name for Your unfailing love and faithfulness, because Your promises are backed by all the honor of Your name. When I pray, You answer me; You encourage me by giving me the strength I need.
– Psalm 138:2-3
At FBC, we care about your personal issues and needs. We would love to lift these needs up to God with you.

PRAYER REQUESTS – week of February 28, 2010
FBC: Pray that we remain joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12) throughout the year. Pray for healing and comfort for those with illness and injury.
Dee Malm: Pray for Doris M. as she is now home from the hospital under hospice care.
Susie Gosciejew: Pray for Anna’s health as well as for the whole family. Pray for perseverance in life. Also for finances.
Benjamin Holtz: Pray that our barn cat will find enough food.
Sylvia Bray: Please continue to pray for the Fuller family of Woodstock and their daughter, Hope, who is close to death of a brain tumor. Pray for her 12-year-old best friend, Grace, who is a believer. Hope’s mom shared that Grace “is leading Hope to God” and that Hope has shared she is ready to leave the pain behind and to go to God. Praise that Hope has remained alert and able to respond to her family and friends.
Sarah Mikan: Pray the Lord would strengthen her faith and prayer life. Pray for Donna & PJ Ryan and their new baby. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness and goodness.
Rick & Jody Hicks: Pray for Betty Sheley – she turns 98 on March 10. Pray that God would give her renewed strength so she can return to church.
Spring Bellows: Pray for her friend who is in need.
Dale & Ronda Floyd: Pray for Marty, Bob and Frank, who are dealing with cancer. Pray for Jim is going through complications from surgery.

Jason & Toni Stuart: Praise for Theo’s courage to stand for his convictions, rather than giving in to tradition. Pray for those who make choices contrary to popular thought; they may be ridiculed and treated poorly. Pray for Caspar as he teaches kids in the village how to read and to write. Pray for wisdom in his teaching and that he will stick with this endeavor. Pray also for Jason and Toni as they are going to the village of Gahom to teach. Pray for planning and for prepared hearts that want to learn more of God and His Word.
Mark & Diane Vanderkooi: Pray for them as they seek people to partner with them in Chad. Pray God’s leading and peace as they train others for working with the Kwong people.
Greg & Carlene Seghers: Praise that their current support meets ZEMA’s requirements for their family and that the deficit they incurred from declining support over the past few years has been fully caught up! Praise also for the 7 new ZEBS students and for the 80+ students who are continuing their studies in 2010.
