Library

The FBC library strives to provide resources to all ages, whether for teaching or leisure. We have a good selection of books and videos, including Veggie Tales, for pre-school children, youth, and adults. The library has three new non-fiction sections: Reflections/Devotionals, Prayer and By Women for Women.

All materials may be checked out for a specified time and taken home for no charge. Bible stories, Bible study, personal growth, spiritual growth, parenting and marriage are just a few of the resource categories available, as well as inspirational fiction.

We ask that all materials be checked out by one of the library volunteer staff. Please return items directly to the library or to the church office on or before their due date. This allows for everyone to enjoy our resources.

The library welcomes donations, but please no video or audio cassettes.

Book of the Month

Hinds Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard

This book is an allegory about the trials of Much Afraid and her desire to become closer to the Shepherd. Much Afraid lives in the Valley of Humiliation and is crippled and unloved. She meets the Shepherd, and He promosies to make her feet like hinds’ feet and take her to the High Places. This is a beautiful story about Much Afraid’s growth in Jesus with all its ups and downs.

Nathaniel The Grublet

This audio CD is a story in songs about honesty and was a favorite of our daughter in the early 1980’s.
