RESONATE
July 31, 2010 – 7:00pm @ FBC ... a community night of worship and prayer with the sole purpose of bringing glory to God through the medium of worship and music, with an emphasis on community. It is a time to encounter our great God who is Father, Son and Spirit. Jesus is the only One who will get the praise of our mouths once the night is over (Psalm 115). Resonate is for the local church and is not specific to a certain age group or denomination. It is an opportunity to build up the church and encourage the Christian community.
SPECIAL SPEAKER
Sunday, August 15 Jason Patton, who serves with Life Builders International as an aviation missionary in Guatemala, will be our special speaker during both morning services. Jason and his wife, Tressa, run a school sponsorship and tutoring program, provide aid to families-in-crisis, drug/alcohol rehab (providing access and follow-up/discipleship), feeding program, children’s programs, flight program, evangelism, and discipleship programs.
KING'S SENIORS POTLUCK
The third Friday of each month, noon to 3:00pm ... join with others, ages 55 and over, for a time of food, fellowship, games and discussion.
